Tokyo, October 31, 2016 --- Hitachi Systems, Ltd. ("Hitachi Systems"), in light of our new mid-term management plan beginning this year and in order to develop a deeper sense of unity among Hitachi Systems Group employees, held a company event, "Hitachi Systems 5th Anniversary Event," on October 29 at the Ryogoku Kokugikan (Sumo Hall) located in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, with approximately 1,500 employees and their family members participating.

Based on our Corporate Philosophy and Corporate Vision, we at Hitachi Systems aim to "fuse together different values to create new value, thus contributing to achieving a truly affluent society." Also, to achieve our mid-term management plan, we believe that the success of diverse human resources, which are the most important resource in an IT service company, is indispensable.
Five years have passed since our merger in October of 2011, marking a fresh start as Hitachi Systems, and in that time, we have added group companies in a wide variety of areas including China, India, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America, bringing in human resources from various backgrounds with various nationalities, cultures, and languages to rapidly become a company group with rich diversity, including a total of 29 companies and over 18,000 consolidated employees across the world.
In order for the diverse human resources of the Hitachi Systems Group to provide a wide variety of services across the globe with an even deeper sense of unity, we held the company event, the "Hitachi Systems 5th Anniversary Event." Using this event as an opportunity for the group to come even closer together, we will continue to support solutions to management issues faced by our customers.
