As you are aware, Hitachi Systems is celebrating its 10th anniversary today on October 1, 2021.
On this day, we will start the much anticipated "Tsunagari - Hitachi Systems 10th Anniversary Event". As we have previously announced, due to the ongoing pandemic, this event will be held online over a period of three months until December and will contain various projects that utilize the unique advantages of online events.
One such project is the Hitachi Systems image song for celebrating 10th anniversary, which will be composed by Akira Senju, one of the the most prominent Japanese composers and the first host of the "Hitachi Systems HEART TO HEART" disaster reconstruction support radio program. The lyrics will be written by Yoichi Kitayama who is the current host and member of the Gospellers, the pioneer of Japanese vocal group. This song is being written to include the "thoughts to convey to people 10 years into the future" that were received from our employees. There will also be a "VR Treasure Hunt" that makes full use of cutting-edge digital technology. Here, my character will appear in a virtual environment where we can explore the company together. We hope you can enjoy this activity with your family and try to find the hidden treasure. I urge you to regularly check the 10th-anniversary special feature page in "Communication Square" and I hope you enjoy the various projects on offer.
On Saturday, November 13, a special online "Thanksgiving" event will be held from 1 PM (Japan Standard Time). In addition to the projects introduced above, I will be joining junior employees in a round-table discussion on "the future of Hitachi Systems". We will also be presenting the results of the social issues problem-solving workshop, introduce the branch offices and group companies of Hitachi Systems, show the 10th-anniversary video presentation, cover the finals of an e-sports tournament, and much more. I hope you can thoroughly enjoy the 10th-anniversary celebrations along with your family.
