Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic wins the Grand Prix of Inspiration of the Year Global Award 2021

Hitachi Systems Micro Clinic won the Grand Prix of Indian Region at Inspiration of the Year Global Award 2021. On December 7, the Global Award Ceremony was held online and Mr. Mansoor Khan took part in the event as the representative of the project. He also participated in a panel discussion with Dr. Kojima, President & COO of Hitachi, Ltd. along with other winners.

Outline of this project

  • A customer is India’s oldest and largest telecom service provider. Citizens all across India, especially small towns and villages in remote areas rely on its IP-MPLS Network to connect to the Internet. Since the IP-MPLS Network Core Equipment were ageing, internet access was unstable or insufficient and this telecom service provide couldn’t provide services to new customers.
  • HISYS-MC rebuilt the IP-MPLS network with latest SDN Technology and Super Core Network Equipment to speed-up the Network and its reach to new geographical areas.
  • By this rebuilding of the IP-MPLS Network, this telecom service provider has added millions of more citizens to it and is providing them high-speed Internet access, allowing residents to use online banking services, students to take online classes and local businesses getting more customers.

Comments on receiving the award by Mr. Mansoor Khan:

It is a great honor to receive this award on behalf of the project team. It gives us a great amount of satisfaction that we were able to serve Indian citizens in its remotest part and connect them to the world during the global pandemic. It is also a big morale booster for the entire team to remain committed to their efforts in taking Hitachi’s Mission to the next level.
